Skew trade में skew से अधिक exposure होता है

Skew को relative price map की तरह पढ़ें

समय के साथ एक methodology track करें: underlying, expiration tenor, delta points, quote side, timestamp और sign convention। Current value को अपनी history से compare करें और move समझाने से पहले liquidity देखें

Skew से पूछें कौन-सी tail महँगी है, कौन-सा flow उसे समझा सकता है और strategy पूरी surface पर कैसे pay करती है। Directional conviction तभी अलग से जोड़ें जब independent evidence हो

Skew को “rich” कहने से पहले surface snapshot record करें

मान लें 30-day 25-delta put 32% IV और comparable call 24% IV पर quoted है। 8-volatility-point difference तभी meaningful है जब दोनों quotes का timestamp, forward, convention और executable side समान हों। यदि put market 31.5% bid और 32.5% ask है, जबकि call market 23.8% bid और 24.2% ask है, तो position वास्तव में खरीदने या बेचने पर apparent gap materially बदल सकता है।

Spot या forward price, दोनों strikes, deltas, bid और ask, quote size, expiration और event calendar save करें। फिर complete strategy की तुलना flatter और steeper skew के तहत करें। इससे descriptive surface reading reproducible review बनती है और genuine repricing को stale या illiquid quote से अलग करना आसान होता है।
