Remaining contracts अपना पूरा exposure रखते हैं
Partial close केवल executed contracts का result realize करता है। बाकी में delta, gamma, theta, vega, market-liquidity, expiration और exercise या assignment exposure पूरा रहता है। Original position के हर risk estimate को scale करने से पहले stock, cash और दूसरे legs में आए बदलाव account करें
Short options में हर open contract exercisable रहते हुए assigned हो सकता है। Submitted, working, canceled, rejected या partially filled buy-to-close order उस obligation को हटाता नहीं। केवल confirmed executions short quantity घटाती हैं
Partial spread close strategy बदल सकता है
Original ratio में complete spread units close करने से बचे units की structure बच सकती है। केवल one leg close करना अलग है: defined-risk spread naked या differently hedged option बन सकता है, buying power बदल सकती है और price movement तथा assignment exposure बढ़ सकता है
Package के net price के लिए complex closing order इस्तेमाल करें और broker partial package fills कैसे संभालता है verify करें। जानबूझकर legging out हो तो हर possible execution के बाद position map करें और first leg भेजने से पहले approval, collateral और maximum interim risk confirm करें
Costs और tax records समान अनुपात में नहीं बदलते
हर execution का price, fees और time अलग हो सकता है। Account तथा jurisdiction rules के अधीन broker default tax-lot method या specific-lot selection दे सकता है। Screen का average cost closed contracts को दिए tax basis के बराबर जरूरी नहीं
