कुछ options में premarket या extended sessions होती हैं, लेकिन हर contract के लिए कोई universal after-hours market नहीं है। Eligibility exact option class, series, exchange session, date और broker पर निर्भर करती है। Stock का after-hours trading में होना यह नहीं बताता कि उसके options भी अपने-आप tradable हैं।
Regular hours केवल शुरुआती assumption हैं
कई multi-listed U.S. equity options का regular session broadly stock market के साथ चलता है। दूसरे products अलग होते हैं। Selected ETF और index options अधिक देर तक खुले रह सकते हैं, जबकि कुछ designated proprietary index options business days पर लगभग 24 घंटे की global sessions में trade कर सकते हैं।
इस review तक Cboe selected eligible equity option classes के लिए morning Global Trading Hours session और afternoon Curb session भी देता है। Eligible symbols और launch details बदल सकते हैं। इसलिए यह कहना कि single-stock options regular hours के बाहर कभी trade नहीं करते, बहुत व्यापक है; और यह कहना कि अब सभी stock options extended hours में trade करते हैं, उतना ही गलत है।
Order acceptance open market के बराबर नहीं है
Exchange session खुलने से पहले order स्वीकार और queue कर सकता है, बिना immediate execution की अनुमति दिए। Orders में regular-hours only या global और curb sessions की eligibility जैसी session instructions भी हो सकती हैं। Broker हर account को हर exchange session या order type उपलब्ध नहीं कराता।
Option symbol और exact series, exchange का current hours page, session designation, supported order types, holiday schedule और broker trading permissions जाँचें। Published exchange time zone को सावधानी से बदलें और दूसरे देश से trade करते समय daylight-saving differences को account में रखें।
Extended-hours execution अलग तरह से चल सकती है
कम participants और कम displayed size से wider bid-ask spreads, अधिक slippage और धीमे या partial fills हो सकते हैं। Underlying cash market बंद या thin हो सकता है, इसलिए hedging और fair-value estimates कम निश्चित होते हैं। Midpoint या stale last price यह साबित नहीं करते कि option वहीं trade कर सकता है।
Market order regular-session quote जैसी होगी, यह मानने के बजाय limit prices इस्तेमाल करें। Live bid, ask, size, session indicator और underlying reference देखें। अगर spread को justify नहीं किया जा सकता, तो अधिक liquid session तक इंतज़ार करना भी valid risk decision हो सकता है।
Expiration hours की अलग जाँच करें
Class के standard hours उसकी expiring series के लिए जरूरी नहीं हैं। AM-settled index options morning settlement calculation से पहले trade बंद कर सकते हैं, जबकि PM-settled series का special expiration cutoff हो सकता है। Half-days और holidays schedule छोटा कर सकते हैं।
Trading hours broker की exercise-instruction deadline तय नहीं करते। Final tradable time, expiration style, settlement method और exercise procedure अलग-अलग confirm करें। Pending order fill न हो तो contract अपने normal expiration rules के अधीन खुला रहता है।

क्या मैं 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time के बाद stock options trade कर सकता हूं
केवल कुछ में। Selected ETF options लंबे समय से ordinary equity-option close के बाद trade करते हैं और Cboe designated eligible single-stock option classes के लिए curb session देता है। दूसरे contracts तब बंद हो सकते हैं जब underlying shares after hours trade कर रहे हों। Exit पर भरोसा करने से पहले current symbol list, exchange session, expiration status, holiday schedule और broker permission verify करें।
क्या premarket stock trading के दौरान options खरीद सकता हूं
संभव है, लेकिन केवल इसलिए नहीं कि stock trade कर रहा है। कुछ designated equity options और proprietary index options में morning या global sessions होती हैं, जबकि कई contracts में नहीं। Early order बाद के opening के लिए queue भी हो सकता है, तुरंत execute नहीं। Confirm करें कि exact option class open है और broker उस session को support करता है।

मेरा after-hours option order fill क्यों नहीं हो रहा
Contract ineligible हो सकता है, order किसी दूसरे session के लिए queued हो सकता है या broker उस exchange window को support न करता हो। Market open हो तब भी limit wider bid-ask spread से बाहर हो सकती है या available size छोटा हो सकता है। Stock के after-hours price पर निर्भर रहने के बजाय session status, order instructions, live bid और ask, quoted size, halt notices और expiration hours जाँचें।
