Clearing और broker allocation से पूरा हुआ वैध option assignment केवल इसलिए reverse नहीं होता कि writer को परिणाम पसंद नहीं, funds नहीं हैं या exercise आर्थिक रूप से असामान्य लगता है। OCC rules के तहत deadline पर सही ढंग से दिया गया exercise notice irrevocable होता है और assignment उसी exercise को लागू करता है। वास्तविक processing या account-record error को broker और clearing chain के जरिए सुधारा जा सकता है, लेकिन वह valid contract event को undo करने का customer election नहीं है
Final assignment और pending screen अलग चीजें हैं
Overnight alert, provisional position, expiration estimate या pending transaction तब दिख सकती है जब ledger की हर entry final न हुई हो। Assignment status, process date, contract count, strike, deliverable, resulting shares या cash और settlement date की पुष्टि करें। Processing के दौरान display बदलना completed assignment के reverse होने का प्रमाण नहीं है
पूछें कि record provisional, final, corrected या केवल reclassified है। Email और push notifications account activity से पीछे रह सकते हैं। Broker का options या operations desk और written transaction confirmation एक app tile से मजबूत evidence हैं
अनचाहा economics reversal का आधार नहीं है
अपर्याप्त buying power, out-of-the-money दिखाई देना, after-hours price move, भूली हुई expiration, unfilled closing order या बचा protective option आम तौर पर assignment को invalid नहीं करते। Option बेचते समय writer ने obligation स्वीकार की थी और specified settlement के लिए जिम्मेदार रहता है

Put assignment से मिले shares बेचना, call assignment के बाद short shares cover करने के लिए stock खरीदना या बचा long option exercise करना current position बदल सकता है। हर action की अपनी price, trade date, settlement, fees, tax consequences और market risk होता है। Assignment ledger में बना रहता है
उदाहरण के लिए, $50 put assignment 100 shares को $50 पर खरीदता है। $48 पर बेचने से अलग stock result realize होता है; assignment purchase ऐसे नहीं बदलता जैसे वह हुआ ही न हो। इसी तरह uncovered call assignment के बाद short stock खरीदना stock exposure बंद करता है, original option वापस नहीं लाता
वास्तविक errors को तुरंत documented escalation चाहिए
संभावित issues में गलत contract या quantity, duplicate posting, account-allocation mistake, missing closing execution या written confirmation से टकराता display शामिल हैं। Order IDs, execution times, screenshots, notices, activity records और communications बचाकर broker के options या operations desk से तुरंत संपर्क करें
